Hello friends! Welcome to the Act 1 October newsletter!
I have much to talk about. First, if you didn’t already know, Crash Landing is officially a visual novel!
While it was originally going to be a webcomic hosted on this website (Neocities), Neocities has a 1GB file limit, and Crash Landing is way too big and way too long. I think Neocities would only be able to hold not even half of Act 1. So I've been learning to code using the visual novel engine Ren’Py.
Next, I'd like to talk about VAs…
I'm very happy to announce the entire main cast of Crash Landing has been cast!

All of these wonderful people are working for completely free, and I am incredibly grateful! Please support them in any way you can!
Finally, Let's talk about progress!
Writing - A lot more has been written. I can confirm that there have been 5 scenes written, with a very important one in the works right now.
Music - I have an incredible composer who's made some really great tracks that will play in the background of the game.
Art - While I have a small team of 2 concept artists, no full art for the game has been made. This is the last step we will take in development.
Coding - Coding is done entirely by me, and in my own personal opinion, the game is looking really good.
Voice Acting - Most of the characters, including side characters and villains, have been cast. The voice acting stage has practically just begun, but one voice actor has recorded all of their current written lines.
This is the end of the newsletter. I really hope you're all excited for Act 1.
