Greetings!
Recently, we released the Crash Landing Pilot Trailer.
We really locked in on getting this trailer done last month, and it's cool to have it finally released.
Initially, it was planned to release in june, but it was quickly apparent that that was way too ambitious...
I (red1ngo1) am quite a perfectionist, so there ended up being like 20 different versions of the trailer, it was only put in 3:4 like 3 weeks before release.
Anyway...
The crash landing pilot is the textbook definition of a pilot.
theres been an increased rate of animated "pilots" that are actually first episodes, not that theres anything wrong with that.
But the crash landing pilot is very much a "test run" of sorts, just to see if people are intrested in the story we have to tell.
The pilot is very different from the full picture and some things from it are already outdated.
Nonetheless, the pilot is still enjoyable and im very proud of what we have been working on.
we have been working very hard to make the pilot the best it can be, and we hope you like it!
The Crash Landing pilot has been in the works since November 1st, 2025.
So here's the progress we've made since then.
The prologue The prologue was completed in late January (Crash Landing: First Look).
The first scene We are nearly done with the final animation for the first scene.
The second scene The second scene has been complete since late April.
The fight scene The rough animation for the fight scene entered production in late July, but we've already made good progress.
The final scene The animatic for the final scene was completed mid-July. final animation has not begun at this moment.
Every other element of the pilot is complete besides sound effects, which will be finished after all animation is done.
Right now, we are mostly focused on finishing the remaining animation.
We have some concepts for extra content, but we can't make promises. We are VERY busy with the pilot.
Unfortunately,
There may not be any more teasers until the pilot releases.
The pilot isn't super long, and we want to keep most of the fight secret because it's awesome!

With that being said...
No specific release date for now, considering we are still quite far from finished.
As of now, we have one other episode written, but multiple have been conceptualized.
Some for years.
I would love to make this into a full series someday, But that will take a lot of time, and a lot of money.
So There are two ways this could go.
1. We pitch a Crash Landing series to indie studios / companies, to hopefully get picked up and funded.
2. We continue working wih a relatively small team, which would make episodes take much longer to come out, but I (red1ngo1) maintain all creative control.
It is currently undecided which way we will end up going, but we can promise you, both are good.
But the pilot isnt even out yet! so theres no need to focus on that stuff now.
And that's about everything we have to say for now.
Thank you for sticking with Crash Landing and following along with the development of the pilot.
This project has been a huge undertaking, and we're incredibly excited to finally be getting closer to showing you the finished thing.
There's still a lot of work to do. So please be patient.
We hope you'll stick around and see where Crash Landing goes from here.
Until next time...
THANK YOU FOR FOLLOWING CRASH LANDING!
